Niamh Vianney Muldoon is our Global Cyber Innovation Lead and our EMEA CISO.   

Niamh started her Security career with us in the AIB Capital Markets division, where she was the dedicated Information Security Analyst for BNY enabling the business to move forward utilizing the latest technologies securely. In January 2024 Niamh rejoined here in BNY recognised globally for her extensive expertise, as an industry Thought Leader and a Guinness World Record Holder for Cybersecurity Awareness.

Niamh has been both a CISO, DPO and has led all things Cyber, Privacy and Compliance related for fast-paced growing global tech organizations and brands. She has experience in transformation programs, including leading operational excellence and growth via security & trust sales enablement, M&A, divestitures, and IPOs.  She gives back to industry sitting on (ISC)2 scholarship boards, lecturing, and defining talent related programs such as Cyber Security apprenticeship with FIT (https://fit.ie/) here in Ireland.

Taking Niamh’s experience, skillset, and niche expertise onboard, Niamh’s role here at BNY works across the global Information Security Division leading cyber innovation initiatives fuelling and differentiating BNY for continued success as modern-day Capital-Market industry leaders.
